Maria is a graduate from C.E.D.I.M. , in Monterey, N.L. Mexico. After immigrating to Canada, she wrote professional exams administered by (NCIDQ) National Council for Design Qualifications. She became registered with IDIBC, and earned the right to use the RID designation.
In 1985 she founded Sunlight Interiors Ltd., and has practiced under that trademark since then.
Maria’s philosophy is to value experience, but always be up to date, and receptive to new concepts and technology. Her motto is “never stop learning”. She participates in a variety of continuing education courses.
Maria is a registered member of IDIBC, Vancouver Island Chapter. and a member of IDC (Interior Designer of Canada).
